UAE Tourist visas are for those people who are not eligible for visas on arrival or visa-free entrance to the UAE. Individual tourists from all over the world can apply for a tourist visa. This tourist visa is not for those who are traveling with their parents, females under the age of 18 are not eligible to apply for this sort of visa. Children under the age of 18 who are with the adults can acquire a free visa for their visit from July 15 to September 15 each year.
CONDITIONS ON WHICH TOURIST VISA EXTENSION IS NOT APPLICABLE:
The UAE visit visa extension rule does not apply in certain cases:
- Visitors and tourists from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.
- Residents who are traveling with GCC nationals.
- Those with specific permission to enter.
- Those on 96-hour special mission permission.
Note: Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain, and Oman comes under the GCC

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR UAE VISA EXTENSION:
- Keep images of the first and last page of the passport.
- The validity of the passport should be at least 6 months.
- A color passport photo.
HOW TO APPLY FOR UAE TOURIST VISA EXTENSION ONLINE:
- You can apply from the website of UAE Visa Online.
- Once you visit the website the front page will ask you to “select the citizenship country”.
- Then select the “living country” of the person and click on “apply for UAE visa”
- Then select one “type of visa” as per your plan. Then click on “Proceed to apply”
- The page will direct you to fill in all your details and upload all the required documents.
- Then select either “Submit & add more applicants” or “submit & proceed to pay”
- Then the page will direct you to the payment portal and then pay the fee for the UAE visa.
- Then the application will go for approval.

VALIDITY OF TOURIST VISA:
Tourist visas to the UAE are for 30 days or 60 days (single entry or multiple entries) depending on your plans.
NEW RULES FOR UAE VISIT VISA EXTENSION IN 2021
You can extend your visit visa a maximum of 2 times and can have 60 days extension but don’t do this on the last date of your visa expiry. In that case, you have to pay some amount as a fine.
Those who are not qualified for an on-arrival visa must get a prepaid visa / UAE prepaid tourist visa, and once in the UAE, prepaid visa holders have the following options for extending their stay.
- Renewing your tourist visa in the UAE twice ( It's a sponsored tourist visa if you got it from an airline or tour operator, and it can be extended twice for another 30 days.)
