What is OK to Board?
Flying to another country involves a number of formalities. Over recent years a sizeable share of travellers were found boarding flights to the UAE on fraudulent visas — so airlines and Dubai immigration introduced OK to Board.
It's a confirmation, sent to your airline, that your visa has been verified against UAE immigration records. With it in place, your boarding pass is issued without questions at check-in.

Passengers from specific countries, or anyone travelling on certain airlines to the UAE.
When is it required?
It must be confirmed before you travel to the UAE — typically 24–72 hours before you reach the airport.
